The Manor and Ashbury Resorts are one of the top crafty holiday destinations in the UK. With over 20 arts and craft workshops you will be spoilt for choice. Whether you enjoy classic crafts such as pottery and woodwork, or something a little more contemporary like resin dip and glass slumping – we have the perfect creative holiday for you.
What Can I Expect on a Crafty Break?
We aim to offer each workshop at least once during each art and craft weekend break, and each midweek break. Most crafty workshops are around 90 minutes long. You can sign-up for as many as you wish during your stay. Just be aware that some workshops, such as pottery may require a second session on another day.
Our tutors are on hand throughout each session offering help and advice to ensure you create the best product possible. We also have an impressive stock of examples to help inspire you. All tuition during the workshops is free of charge so you only pay for the materials you use. And once completed you take home all the products you have made.
If you are joining us with younger guests they won’t be disappointed. Children are welcome to take part in many of our craft workshops, with adult supervision. More information on age requirements can be found here. During school holidays we also offer several junior crafts including teddy creations, jewellery making and junior glass fusion. These sessions are specifically designed for younger children, and help introduce them to the wonderful world of crafts.

Our kits are sure to help fill the void until your next creative break with us. They also make fantastic gifts to give as souvenirs to family and friends back home.
